Our main wedding reception area are the Tauhara Rooms. This offers indoor / outdoor flow to a private landscaped courtyard area with romantic water feature. With access for the bridal car directly to the room, outdoor seating options available for ceromonys. Fully air conditioned with it’s own private amenities and bar facilities. Everything required for a wedding reception and our most popular venue.
Wharewaka:
Olde world charm, full of character, chandelier, antique oil paintings and majestic fire this room really comes to life. This is a perfect venue for the more personal smaller gathering.
Motutaiko Room:
Stunning character restaurant situated in the heart of the hotel. With its open fire, majestic chandelier and oozing with romance and charm. Perfect for the smaller, more intimate groups.
Menu Options:
Our Wedding co-ordinator is happy to work with you to ensure menus and beverages are tailored to your needs. Buffets, set menus, finger foods.
Accommodation:
With 40 refurbished lake front studios (52 in total) there is an accommodation option for everyone, including, Superior Studios, Superior One and Two Bedroom and Superior Twin Studios. Suncourt Hotel also has great facilities, such as an outdoor pool and spa, safe children’s playground, ample off street parking and all with magnificent views and a three minute walk to the CBD.
